Our story
American Furniture of Slidell was founded in 2007 by the Bremond family, who brought over 20 years of furniture industry experience to St. Tammany Parish. The goal was simple: bring in quality furniture that fit the style and budget of the people who actually live here.
What started as a single showroom has grown into two locations on Gause Blvd in Slidell, serving families across Southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We're still locally owned, we still answer our own phones, and we still believe a furniture store should feel like part of the neighborhood, not a national chain.
